About volunteering organization

"Kitty Pechersk" is a local volunteer community in Kyiv's Pechersk district. Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion in February 2022, we've been instrumental in helping people establish home communities, serving as a vital tool for providing humanitarian, security, and psychological support to our neighbors. Over time, our efforts have included distributing grocery kits and delivering lunches to elderly residents with limited mobility in the area.

At present, one of our key initiatives is the production of "kikimoras," which are camouflage clothing for military use, helmet camouflage covers, and camouflage nets. Additionally, we engage in seasonal activities such as crafting trench candles. As of October 2023, our dedicated team of volunteers at "Kitty Pechersk" has already created 1,300 kikimoras, woven 353 camouflage nets (covering 12,154 square meters), produced over 2,240 trench candles, and sewn 161 helmet camouflage covers.

Join us to weaving the victory together!

Type of work for volunteers:

  • Preparing materials (cutting fabrics into strips);
  • Weaving camo nets and kikimoras;
  • Sharing information about "Kitty Pechersk" on social media.
