Siobhan’s Trust – Ukraine is on a mission to provide both sustenance and practical assistance to the considerable number of internally displaced Ukrainians who have been deeply affected by the Russian invasion of their homeland. Their journey began with the establishment of a stationary feeding station on the Polish/Ukrainian border in early March 2022. However, they've since adapted their approach to encompass a mobile service employing food trucks that traverse the entire country, with operational bases in Lviv and Zaporizhzhia.
Within these mobile trucks, they cook frozen pizzas (no culinary skills required) and extend this nourishment to vulnerable segments of the population such as internally displaced persons, orphans, and the elderly, all free of charge.
A highlight of their initiative involves daily visits to 2-3 sites, where they not only deliver delectable pizza but also bring forth joy and uplifted spirits. 🍕🌟
Siobhan's Trust is currently in search of a volunteer who can contribute to social media content creation and the ongoing management of our social media channels. If you are interested in this role, please send your CV and a motivation letter to volunteer@siobhanstrust.uk
Since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Scottish charity Siobhan’s Trust has been working 24/7 to bring pizza and positivity to the people of Ukraine. Siobhan’s Trust has served up to 5000 weary people pizzas, hot drinks, fruit and snacks in one day, putting a smile on the faces of the most vulnerable people in Ukraine...
